Tom Burns

Tom is a graduate of the University of Texas and UT Southwestern Medical School. He is an orthopedic surgeon in Austin, Texas and is a physician for the United States Ski Team. He has over 20 years of real estate experience, both locally and internationally, involving acquisition, development, and management of multiple asset classes. In addition to his real estate experience, he has co-founded, managed and sold a free-standing full-service hospital. Dr. Burns is the author of Why Doctors Don’t Get Rich, a personal finance book for professionals, and he is listed in the acknowledgment section of Robert Kiyosaki’s book, Rich Dad Poor Dad. He is a popular speaker, a frequent podcast guest and a writer for nationally syndicated print media.
